HOST - WINE BAR

About Us: Carmella's Wine Bar is an inviting spot in the heart of Pittsford, NY, designed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for wine and cocktail enthusiasts. Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team at Carmella's Wine Bar. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their experience. Your warm and welcoming demeanor will ensure guests feel valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive.

$12-$20 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the guest experience and maintain a smooth flow in the dining area.
  • Assist guests with inquiries
  • Collaborate with the service and bar staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized and inviting entrance and waiting area, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging feedback and fostering a sense of community.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your knowledge of hospitality and guest service excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and team members.
  • A passion for exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
